As Guam gears up for next year’s FestPac, the Guam 13th Festival of the Pacific Arts & Culture Planning Task Force is seeking individuals to serve as committee chairs of the various programs that Guam will be joining in during the festival.
In a press conference held earlier this week, Lt. Gov. Joshua Tenorio said that his goal for next year’s FestPac is to build an excellent Guam delegation that will showcase the culture of Guam.
The Guam 13th Festival of the Pacific Arts & Culture Planning Task Force, along with the Department of CHamoru Affairs and the Council on the Arts and Humanities, is seeking participants interested in joining the following committees: Performing Arts, Literary Arts, Demonstrations and Exhibitions, and Special Events and Activities.
“There are going to be four committees that are going to be leading this effort which will be overseeing such as culinary cook-off and traditional games,” Tenorio said.
If you are interested in joining the Guam delegation, you can submit an application with supporting materials to the Department of CHamoru Affairs or visit the CAHA website www.guamcaha.org.
