Few days late but the Thanksgiving celebration still goes on

Guam – The Salvation Army Guam Corps held their 22nd Annual Thanksgiving luncheon this Sunday at their headquarters in Barrigada. The annual thanksgiving luncheon is usually held at the Chamorro Village on Thanksgiving Day. This year’s celebration was postponed by three days and moved to their headquarters due to the passage of typhoon Man Yi.

In a release from the Guam Corps, they mention that most of the volunteers scheduled to serve the food as well as donors who provided the food were able to reschedule to accommodate the change of plans and for that, the Guam Corps is very grateful for everyone’s understanding.

Kloppenburg Enterprises also generously donated two busses to provide shuttle service to and from the Chamorro Village.
