Lotte Hotel is proud to celebrate the 123rd anniversary commemorating
Philippine Independence Day “Araw Ng Kalayaan” with a two-day “Fiestahan” at La Seine Restaurant.
Lotte Hotel’s Chef Dizon with his creative culinary team will showcase their own versions of Filipino traditional favorite dishes starting Thursday, June 11, and Friday, June 12, lunchtime.
“The taste of Filipino dishes brings the comfort of home and a sense of pride not only to me but to all Filipinos who span the globe,” according to Tes Reyes-Burrier, Food and Beverage Director.
Filipinos may not be all in the Philippines but remain connected in heart, mind and stomach when we commemorate our Independence while gathering where we are and enjoying the comforts of Filipino dishes, she added.
Filipino flavors are an inspired cuisine from different cultures such as Spanish, Chinese, Indian, and western influences. The unique dishes will be prepared for a two-day celebration for guests to enjoy.
Guests will experience a melody of delightful flavors to the senses with offerings from appetizers to hot entrées like Pinakbet, Seafood Kare-Kare,
Pancit to name a few.

The celebration of Filipino dishes will not be complete without “lechon”, Roast Pig cooked in lemongrass and garlic.
And lastly, the “panghimagas” desserts like ginataang bilo bilo, leche flan, buko pandan, puto at kutchinta, sapin sapin and turon all prepared by the creative team of culinary experts of Lotte Hotel.
While enjoying the Filipino dishes, a local Filipino musical group will serenade you with traditional and modern Filipino songs for an added ambience.
In addition to the celebration, at the lobby a display of traditional Filipino apparel with a modern twist by local designers, Norman and Hermalin Analista. The pieces on display are part of Analista & Company Designer Apparel located on the second floor of Tumon Sands Plaza.
