Fire at GRESCO warehouse in Agat

At 6:07 p.m. a passerby reported smoke coming from the GRESCO warehouse in Agat.

According to the Guam Fire Department, Engine 5 from Agat was dispatched and upon arrival, confirmed it was a structure fire and requested additional units.

Assistance from Navy Fire was also requested.

According to GFD, the fire is now under control, and units are conducting overhaul. There were no injuries reported, from responders or the public.

The units that responded were: (from GFD) Engine 5-Agat, Engine 7-Piti, Engine 11-Talofofo, Engine 8- Umatac, Medic 8-Umatac, and Rescue 3-Agat Marina (from Navy)
Engine 3-Nimitz Hill, Engine 2-Naval Mag, and Confined Space Rescue-Nimitz Hill.
