First Lady’s Rigalu Foundation Conducts Groundbreaking Ceremony

Yigo receives a new bus stop thanks to the contribution of the Rigalu Foundation.

Guam-  This morning the First Lady was joined by Yigo Mayor Rudy Matanane; Vice Chairman of Coast 360 Credit Union, Paul Leon Guerrero; and Chief of Staff, Mark Calvo as she presented the groundbreaking of a new Yigo bus stop construction that has been donated through the Rigalu foundation and Coast 360 as a part of the Bus Stops Here program.

Within the next 90 days, a brand new concrete bus stop will begin with the help of their $20,000 donation.  The Governor’s Office Chief of Staff, Mark Calvo, says it will serve as a calm, safe place for students to rest and reflect on their days in route to and from school.  The bus stop is the second bus stop donated with the help of Coast 360 Credit Union and this will be the tenth bus stop to add to the goal Guam hopes to meet in placing 100 new bus stops on Guam through this program.
