Guam – What happened to Fly Guam?
Launched with some fanfare less than a year ago, Fly Guam has dropped off the radar in recent months.
Guam Airport Spokeswoman Rolenda Lujan Faasuamalie advised PNC News that “Fly Guam has not submitted its operational flight schedule to the Airport Authority. The last regularly scheduled flight was in November 2011.”
No one answers either their reservation line or their office number. Those numbers do accept recorded messages. Messages left by PNC News had not been returned as of this posting.
As PNC News reported in November of last year, Fly Guam announced a 51% sale to Triyar Capital, a U.S. Company based in Los Angeles.
Along with the share sale, Fly Guam said it would will be implementing several route changes as part of a new strategy to provide a more stable and predictable operating climate for Fly Guam.
