EVA Airways to Launch Flights to Guam in June


Guam – A Taiwan website is reporting that EVA Airlines is planing to launch flights to Guam in June.

Focus Taiwan reports that EVA announced Thursday that they will be flying 2 flights to Guam every week starting on June 18, due to rising customer demand.

According to the report, Guam has become an increasingly popular destination for Taiwanese travelers in recent years, as well as becoming a popular destination for weddings.

In addition, the March 11 earthquake and tsunami in Japan has also driven many travelers who originally planned to visit Japan to seek other destinations, adding to the popularity of Guam, said the officials.

EVA rival, China Airlines (CAL) , currently offers two flights per week to Guam.
