Food commodities distribution today in Sinajana and Yona

The Guam Department of Education (GDOE), State Agency for the Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) under the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food Nutrition Service distribution continues today.

The food distribution will be available to village constituents only on a first-come, first-served basis. A limit of three households per vehicle will be serviced at the distributions. Face masks must be worn. Bring a photo ID. Village Mayors distribution schedule is as follows:

Distribution will be held from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Sinajana Outdoor Gymnasium, while supplies last.

QUALIFICATIONS: This is for 450 Sinajana families who signed up for TEFAP under the Sinajana Mayor’s Office, during enrollment in June 2020 through May 2021, we will have items reserved for you. Wear a mask at all times and bring your reusable bags to gather the commodities in person (4-6 persons at a time). Drive-thru will not be available as the items are not prepacked. Drive-thru distribution will begin at 11 a.m. at the Yona Gymnasium for 350 constituents only, while supplies last. For more information, contact the Yona Mayor’s Office at 789-1525/4798.
