There’s another place to go grab a bite to eat — in Dededo.
For several months now, “Food Truck Tuesdays” has always been at the Old Flea Market in Dededo but organizers need more space.
“Food Truck Tuesdays” has now found a new home at the Dededo Farmers’ Cooperative, where there is ample space to accommodate more trucks and parking for customers.
Dededo Mayor Melissa Savares spoke with K57’s Patti Arroyo about moving the weekly food event to the new site. She said they are expecting more than 20 food trucks at the co-op.
She added: “Since we still distance — the trucks, all the cooking is contained in the vehicle. We don’t have outdoor dining. They are not setting up tables and stuff. We have a total of about 26 food trucks that are there and there is a wide variety of food.”
Gates open at 7 p.m. tonight, Tuesday, Feb 2. Just a reminder, they have no outdoor dining facilities on site.
