Free food commodities distribution today at Yigo Gym

The Guam Department of Education (GDOE), State Agency for the Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) under the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food Nutrition Service distribution will be available to village constituents only on a first-come, first-served basis. Distribution is limited to three households per vehicle at the sites. Face masks must be worn; bring a photo ID.

Drive-thru distribution is from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Yigo Gym for Yigo constituents, while supplies last. Individuals carpooling must obtain a Yigo Mayor’s Verification prior to the distribution date in order to verify that they are residing in a separate household. Limit one food commodity bag per household. Any remaining food commodities will be issued door-to-door. Those who did not receive a bag for various reasons (i.e. no transportation, elderly persons, etc.) will be prioritized.
