From The Police Blotter: A Theft, A Bag Grab, A DUI & A Child Abuse Arrest


Guam – Guam Police have arrested 29 year old Justin RJ Santos of  Mangilao on charges of Obstruction of Government Function and Attempted Theft by Deception.

A release from GPD Officer Mercy Grino states that he was arrested Wednesday morning about 11 am after police responded to a kidnapping complaint that turned out not to be a kidnapping,  but a theft complaint. Santos was booked and released.

In a separate case, police arrested 36 year old Antonio M. Villagomez of Inarajan on charges of Child Abuse, Family Violence, Terrorizing, and Custodial Interference. He also had an outstanding Warrant of Arrest.

Villagomez was picked up Wednesday night after 9 pm when police responded to a stalking complaint in Yona.  According to Officer Grino’s release, the arresting Officers determined that Villagomez had threatened a female individual known to him. Villagomez was booked and confined.

And early this morning [Thursday], just after midnight, Police responded to a reckless driving complaint on Route 16 by the Harmon McDonald’s. Officers located the suspect vehicle by Kang’s Market in Harmon. 52 year old Edward Pang Pak of Harmon was arrested on charges of  Reckless Driving and DUI. He was booked and confined.

Also, police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating an individual who grabbed the bag of a man walking along San Vitores Road. It happened about 11 am Wednesday evening. The victim told Police he was walking on San Vitores Road by Burger King, Tumon, when someone grabbed his bag and got into a blue pickup truck and fled the area.  No other description or information was provided.
