Port Authority of Guam General Manager Rory J. Respicio was notified Wednesday that an employee has tested positive for COVID-19.
This employee is fully vaccinated.
The Port’s Contact Tracing Team has identified five additional employees who will need to be tested for COVID-19 as a result of the positive case.
Meanwhile, Respicio was notified Tuesday night that a private sector employee who is employed with one of the Port’s stakeholders and works closely with Port employees also tested positive for COVID-19. The Port’s Contact Tracing Team has identified one additional Port employee who will need to be tested for COVID-19 as a result of the positive case.
As of today, 309 (89%) Port employees are fully vaccinated, 23 (7%) have received the first dose of the vaccine, and 16 (4%) employees are still not vaccinated.
