Guam – All three of the island’s fuel suppliers have raised their price per gallon for regular unleaded to $3.80 cents a gallon; or, as their signs say, $3.79 9/10th.
Mobil, Shell and 76 all raised prices by 5-cents overnight.
The price for premium and diesel also jumped by 5 cents a gallon.
The 3 major fuel suppliers typically raise or lower prices in lock-step with each other, and they never announce price changes ahead of time or explain after a price rise.
Crude prices have been gradually rising in recent months and on Monday, December crude futures on the Singapore exchange where Guam buys its gasoline were trading at $85.30 cents a barrel.
