Mobil Last to Raise Price, Joins Shell & 76 at $4.08 a Gallon

Guam – Mobil Saturday joined Shell and 76 in raising its price per gallon for regular unleaded by 8-cents. Now all 3 island fuel suppliers have raised their price per gallon to $4.08 cents [$4.07.9 on the sign] from $4.00 earlier.

The island’s 3 major fuel suppliers generally raise and lower their prices in lock-step with each other.

As usual, there was no advance notice of the price hike.

The price of crude in Singapore where Guam gets its gasoline from,  was in the neighborhood of  $92 dollars a barrel Friday morning … a steady climb from the $70 dollar range just 6 months ago.
