GATE students show support for Ukraine


GDOE GATE students have voiced their support of Ukraine amidst the Ukraine-Russian war.

As the war between Ukraine and Russia continues, students that are a part of the Gifted and talented education program from Captain H.B Price Elementary have decided to showcase an art project and their voices in support of Ukraine.

According to Fox6 reporter Madalyn O’Neill, The United States is looking to accept around 100,000 refugees. Likely, she states, the refugees may end up in Wisconsin.

According to Drew DeSilver, a Senior Writer for the Pew Research Centre, the Russian invasion of Ukraine has created one of the biggest refugee crises of modern times. In a time span of approximately one month into the war.
