Guam – It was a great run for the Guam art exhibit this year and they closed it off with a big bang – or in this case, spoken word.

The closing night ceremony was celebrated with talented poets, live bands making beats for M.C.’s and Guam Massive Sound spinning records. The last night featured an event called “Ancestors Reflections”, which was organized in part by Dakota Alcantara Camacho. “Ancestors Reflections” brought together the young, the old, Chamorus, Filipino’s, Belauans, Chuukese, Caucasians and even West Indians. The event featured chanters, dancers, painters, students, teachers, scholars, farmers, carvers, musicians, politicians, magicians and weavers.
