GCC cancels college assembly Monday; College remains closed until further notice

GCC’s College Assembly set for Monday, March 16 has been canceled.

Early on Monday, GCC announced it will shut down to comply with Governor Leon Guerrero’s directive that all non-essential Government of Guam agencies remain closed.

The College says there will be no classes on campus and students should stay home.

Administrators and staff are asked to report to work at 8am on Monday for a briefing with the President and to secure the campus, as stated in a release from GCC.

Faculty have the option of attending the training courses (Moodle, Google Classroom and web tools for the classroom).

Officials at the college said the situation is rapidly developing and GCC will provide updates as changes occur.
