Guam – If you’re looking for a great place to eat lunch or dinner on Wednesdays starting in mid-April, head over to Guam Community College.

This semester, Chef Kevin Dietrichs’ Culinary Arts Buffet and Catering class at GCC is expanding its delicious buffets to include lunches and dinners. Starting on Wednesday, April 10, through Wednesday, May 1, the buffets will be open to the public on a first come, first served basis from 11 AM – 12:30 PM for lunch, and 4:00 – 5:30 PM for dinner, in the GCC Multipurpose Auditorium (Building 400).

The price is $10 per person for either lunch or dinner, and no reservations are required.

“This is an upper level culinary class,” said Chef Dietrichs. “These students are already accomplished chefs-in-training. What they are learning in this class is how to successfully plan and execute buffets and catered events within a certain budget,” he added. Each week, a different group of students will present a unique cultural menu for the buffet.

“The students look forward to the public participation in this class, and we welcome comments and feedback on the menu, the buffet presentation and the students’ service,” Dietrichs said.
