GCC, FHB to host 2nd annual John Lee Scholarship 5K
(PRESS RELEASE) – Runners, mark your calendars! The Guam Community College Foundation, First Hawaiian Bank, and the students of GCC’s Supervision and Management Personnel Supervision classes will host the 2nd annual John K. Lee Scholarship Fund 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, November 8, 2014, at the Chamorro Village in Hagatna. Proceeds from this 5K will directly benefit GCC students in the form of scholarships in honor of the late John K. Lee Jr., former First Hawaiian Bank Guam and CNMI Senior Vice President/ Region Supervisor and GCC Foundation board member. Raffle prizes will include one United economy-class round-trip ticket to the U.S. via Honolulu.
Check-in time for the John K. Lee Scholarship Fund 5K is at 5:00 A.M. Race start time is at 6:00 A.M. Registration forms are available online at www.guamcc.edu, and participants can register at Hornet Sporting Goods in Tamuning, and at GCC in Building B(Monday – Friday from 8 AM to 10 PM).
