Dozens of kids of all ages enjoyed their time away from their tablets at Guam Community College's 6th Annual Cardboard Challenge.

From mini-golf to puzzles to paintings, dozens of kids of all ages enjoyed their time away from their tablets at Guam Community College’s 6th Annual Cardboard Challenge earlier this weekend at the college’s multipurpose auditorium.

The event was meant to give children the opportunity to take a break from technology and foster their imagination by interacting with cardboard playhouses, games, and other activities. These sets were designed by education students from Guam Community College and George Washington High School.

According to a release, the Global Cardboard Challenge was inspired by the film “Caine’s Arcade” and has turned into a global event which celebrates child creativity and community participation.
