GCC: Southern Takes DECA Quiz Bowl

Guam – Southern High School’s GCC CTE Marketing team took top honors at Friday’s Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA) Quiz Bowl in the GCC Multipurpose Auditorium. 

 

Nearly 200 of the 312 students enrolled in GCC CTE Marketing programs in the five public high schools gathered in the MPA today to cheer on their respective school teams.

After the quiz bowl, students participated in DECA Western Regional Leadership Conference workshops. The quiz bowl competition is one of the events a school must win in order to earn the chance to attend the national DECA conference in California in April.
