The last day to register for the upcoming Spring 2022 semester at the Guam Community College is today, December 30, 2021. Those not able to meet the deadline will still be able to apply/register up until the first day of classes on January 5, 2022. However, it is highly recommended that students register and apply payment sooner than later to secure their seat in class(es).
Registration may be done in person at the Mangilao campus or on the GCC website at www.guamcc.edu/apply. Information on the GCC admissions process, the academic calendar, tuition rates, and fees can also be found on the college website. The last day to register is Thursday, December 30, 2021, with the first day of class Wednesday, January 5, 2022. Student orientation will be on January 3, 2022, at 9 a.m. in the Multi-Purpose Auditorium (MPA), building #400. Orientation is required for all new GCC students.
Financial aid can help students meet their goal of completing a program at GCC. Students are urged to fill out a free application for federal student aid, or FAFSA, form to determine their eligibility to receive federal financial aid, scholarships, or grant funding. Again, the FAFSA application form and process are free of charge. Additionally, those whose financial situation has changed from what is reflected in their most recent income tax return are encouraged to adjust their FAFSA application. Some applicants may now be eligible for financial aid based on those changes. This applies to those who lost a job or otherwise experienced a drop in income.
