Guam – Guam Community College has issued the following schedule of “College Access Grant Events.”   

Wednesday, October 16:

COLLEGE ACCESS CHALLENGE GRANT PROGRAM STUDENT/PARENT ORIENTATION

6:00 – 8:00pm., GCC Campus Multipurpose Auditorium (Bldg. 400)

On Wednesday, October 16, from 6:00 to 8:00pm, the College Access Challenge Grant Program is inviting new and continuing students and their parents/guardians to attend a CACGP Student/Parent Orientation where you will learn about CACGP’s FREE services including tutoring, student leadership and career development workshops, how to prepare for college and how to apply for FREE MONEY for college, plus gas reimbursements for approved activities. The information presented will provide students with “early bird” information to plan and prepare for college and a career.  SAVE YOUR SPOT TODAY! CCCGP FREE MONEY FOR COLLEGE WORKSHOP (Dual Enrolled/Recent Graduates of High School & Adult Education)

6:00 – 8:00 p.m., GCC Multipurpose Auditorium (Bldg. 400)

 CACGP is inviting our adult education students, high school juniors, seniors and parents/guardians to attend a Financial Aid /Grant Aid Orientation, where you will learn about ways to afford college and the steps needed to apply for FAFSA and obtain CACGP’s grant aid to assist with college needs. CACGP’s Grant Aid applications will be distributed during this event. This is FREE MONEY for college! Juniors/seniors will find out how to get ahead in college and be a college student while still attending high school. Information will be provided about funding dual enrolled students and recent graduates. COLLEGE ACCESS CHALLENGE GRANT PROGRAM’S FREE TUTORING SESSIONS FOR MIDDLE, HIGH SCHOOL & ADULT EDUCATION STUDENTS

Monday through Saturday-Various Public School sites and GCC’s Tutor Center (Building 5000, 2nd Floor Room 5201)

Active or potential CACGP participants from Guam’s public and private middle and high schools and adult education programs are invited to attend FREE TUTORING at various school sites and the GCC CAMPUS to sharpen, retain, or add onto the different subjects at school. Public Schools: varies. GCC Tutor Center: Tuesday to Thursdays, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturdays: 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
