Guam Community College will be holding its 2020 Motorcade Graduation ceremony on Saturday, June 27, 2020, on the GCC Mangilao campus.
The Motorcade Graduation is open to all graduates from Summer 2019, Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 sessions who would have participated in the originally planned May graduation that was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The graduation ceremony will begin at 3:00 p.m. and is anticipated to last approximately two hours.
Each graduate is allowed as many guests, including the graduate, as can legally and safely occupy one vehicle.
For example, a five-passenger sedan can accommodate the graduate and up to 4 guests. However, in a full-size SUV that seats eight, the graduate and up to seven guests can attend.
No passengers will be allowed in the bed of pickup trucks. Additionally, only the graduates will be allowed to leave the vehicles while on campus, to receive their diplomas and certificates.
All participants of the Motorcade Graduation are required to wear masks and follow recommended social distancing protocols at any time they are on the GCC campus and outside of their vehicles.
Graduates are also encouraged to decorate their vehicles in celebration of their accomplishments.

GCC has been working with the Guam Police Department and Mangilao Mayor Allan Ungacta to ensure that there is minimal disruption to traffic flow through the area.
