Derrick White Arrested on 68 Counts of Burglary & Theft

Guam – Guam Police made an arrest last Sunday afternoon after alert officers spotted a vehicle that matched the description of a car used in a recent burglary.

Guam Police PIO Officer A.J. Balajadia reports that this past Sunday afternoon, around 3:40 pm, officers from the Dededo Precinct spotted a vehicle near Marbo Cave that fit the description of a vehicle used in a December 10th burglary in Maina.

Criminal Investigations Agents arrested 24 year old Derrick Dustin Palacios White of  Mangilao on 5  counts of  Burglary of a Vehicle, 5 counts of Conspiracy to Commit Burglary to a Vehicle, 13 counts of  Criminal Facilitation, 5 counts Criminal Mischief to a Vehicle, 9 counts of Theft of  Property, 4 counts Burglary to a Residence, 4 counts Conspiracy to Commit Burglary to a Residence, 5 counts Theft of a Motor Vehicle, 5 counts Conspiracy to Commit Theft to a Motor Vehicle, and 13 counts of Guilt Established by Complicity.

He was booked and confined.

Wednesday, January 12, 2011, following up on a complaint filed with the Tumon/Tamuning Precinct, officers arrested Marieta Palomaria Maldo,f/Phil/49 of Dededo, for Theft of Property Held in Trust, Forgery, and Tampering with Documents to Conceal. She was booked and confined.

The complaint filed states that over $100,000.00 dollars is missing from the Valencia Foreign Exchange in Harmon.

Wednesday, January 12, 2011, 2:49am, a Japan tourist reporter that while he was walking towards the Tumon Sands Plaza with two of his friends, when two males approached them on foot and stuck him with a possible bottle.  Once on the ground he was punched and his waist pouch was taken.

They suspects reportedly jumped into a gray colored sedan with 3 male occupants, with the driver possibly being female.

The victim was treated for his injuries by medics while at the Tumon / Tamuning Precinct.

Friday, January 14, 2011, 12:00am, Hagatna Precinct personnel responded to a disturbance call in Mangilao where they discovered an aggravated Assault victim, Male Micronesian, 31 years old,
who received multiple stab wounds (2- left arm, 1- left should, 2- back and 1- left chest) to his body. Individual was transported to Guam Memorial Hospital where he is underwent surgery.

Criminal Investigations Agents arrested; 18-yr-old, George Ninje Rachulap Jr., male, Chuukese of Mangilao for Attempted Murder, Family Violence, Aggravate Assault, Assault and Use of a Deadly Weapon in the Commission of a Felony. Booked and confined.

Sunday, January 16, 2011, 2:00am, officers responded to a crash at Dollar Rent A Car off Route 14 in Tumon. The driver of a white Ford F150 pickup ran off the roadway striking the curb, a perimeter fence/gate, and a power box.

Monday, January 17, 2011, 12:55am, officers arrested Anthony Quitugua Gumataotao,M/Gua/42/Dededo,in the Toto area for Failure to Comply, Resisting Arrest, Illegal Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was booked and confined.
