GDOE: Christmas Break schedule

It’s Christmas break for GDOE Students! But normal hours for the GDOE headquarters.

Today was the last day of school for GDOE students as they head into Christmas break.

According to Guam Department of Education (GDOE) Public Information Officer Isa Baza, there will be no classes from Monday, December 25, 2017 to Friday, January 5, 2018. However, the GDOE headquarters in Tiyan will remain open during the Christmas Break with the exception of Christmas Day on December 25, 2017 and New Year’s Day on January 1, 2018.

GDOE Superintendent Jon Fernandez urges all students, parents and community stakeholders to keep an eye out on the island’s schools while they are closed and to stay safe this holiday season.
