All GDOE employees will telework effective immediately and should not physically report to work beginning Friday, August 21, 2020, through the end date of the governor’s executive order.
According to GDOE, all hard copy packet distribution for schools will be canceled during this time period and payroll checks will be mailed.
Parents will continue to be able to reach schools via email, and teachers will be reaching out to families to continue lessons remotely.
Parents are asked to stand by for further communication from schools.
