GDOE encourages students to enroll in summer school; deadline is this Friday

The Guam Department of Education (GDOE) would like to remind all elementary, middle, and high school students to enroll for summer school 2021. Registration is currently ongoing and application forms are available for pick-up at your child’s respective school. Application forms must be submitted to your child’s school no later than Friday, May 7, 2021.

Elementary and middle school summer school programs will run from June 7, 2021, through July 16, 2021. Classes will be conducted from Monday through Thursday.

The high school summer program will run from June 7, 2021, through July 22, 2021, and will be divided into four sessions and eligible to earn a maximum of 2.0 credits (0.5 credit for each session). Classes will be conducted from Monday through Friday.

For elementary, middle, and high school programs:

  • The face-to-face and online models of learning will be offered.
  • Breakfast and lunch will be served.
  • Transportation will be provided by the Department of Public Works (schedule forthcoming).
