The Guam Department of Education (GDOE) has begun the process of preparing the Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 budget and is seeking input from the community.

GDOE would like to invite the community to participate in the FY 2022 Budget Stakeholder Survey.

Parents, students, teachers, and staff are encouraged to share their thoughts on the budget process by filling out the survey before the December 16, 2020 deadline.

“At a time when our island and department are facing significant fiscal challenges, we invite our stakeholders to engage with us during the budget process so that we can better meet the mission and priorities of our students, faculty and staff,” GDOE Superintendent Jon Fernandez said.

The survey seeks stakeholder feedback and suggestions in areas including capital improvement, equipment, supplies, and personnel. Additionally, participants are able to provide other comments or suggestions they feel will be helpful to the budget process.

The survey is available online at, under “FY2022 Budget Stakeholder Survey”.

In addition to the budget survey, schools will be holding virtual stakeholder input sessions to obtain stakeholder feedback from their school communities.
