Tomorrow, the Guam Department of Education will move into the second phase of procurement for the long-awaited reconstruction of Simon Sanchez High School.
According to a news release, the first phase of the procurement, which involved land surveying services, was successfully awarded in April and completed earlier this summer.
For this next phase, GDOE will publish a Request for Proposal for architectural, engineering, and owner agent engineer services.
This RFP will be available to all interested vendors on the GDOE procurement website at www.gdoe.net/procurement.
The deadline to submit proposals will be in January 2020.
Regarding the procurement, GDOE Superintendent Jon Fernandez says that it is important to keep moving forward and push for the rebuilding of Simon Sanchez High School.
