The Guam Department of Education (GDOE) informs the public that professional development scheduled for Monday, March 16, 2020, is canceled. The cancelation comes after Governor Lou Leon Guerrero announced Sunday evening that Guam now has three confirmed cases of COVID-19.

There also will be no classes for all GDOE schools on Monday due to the scheduled professional development.

All school administrators and 12-month employees are required to report to work. The Superintendent will be meeting with Governor Lou Leon Guerrero Monday morning to discuss plans for GDOE schools, and further updates will be announced.
