GDOE urged to follow up solar power for schools

During the Guam Department of Education’s budget hearing, GDOE Superintendent Jon Fernandez was asked the status of their plan to transition the island’s schools to solar power.

Specifically, Senator Joe San Agustin asked about the status of plans to install solar panels in schools.

Fernandez answered that GDOE has yet to hear from GPA on the matter.
