Grab-N-Go meals were distributed Wednesday morning alongside the vaccination clinic at Okkodo High School.
According to GDOE Superintendent Jon Fernandez, even with the return of face-to-face instruction, GDOE will still continue the Grab-N-Go meal distributions every Friday to students who are eligible for the program.
Because their usual distribution day this Friday falls on a holiday, GDOE decided to reschedule their Grab-N-Go meal distribution to Wednesday, December 30th, from 9 am to 12 pm
All children from 0-18 years of age are eligible to receive one bundle of 5 days worth of nonperishable breakfast and lunch items through a drive-thru service on a first come first serve basis.
One bag will be given per child, with a maximum of 5 bundles
The school meal distribution program is available at all GDOE school locations.
