Employers, sign up on hireguam.com and find the right candidates for your job
openings. The Department of Labor’s free online job bank is here to help you connect with job seekers and fulfill your workforce needs with this one-stop shop.

“Many employers already signed up on our system when they needed to register separation notices at the start of the pandemic. Now I encourage employers to take advantage of hireguam.com. It is not just an unemployment system, it’s completely free and is the official employment system of the Department of Labor together with our local American Job Center. All you need to do now is go back in, fill out your profile and post your vacancies. Visit the website and start hiring today,” said Director David Dell’Isola.

If you haven’t already, simply register on hireguam.com by setting up a new employer account and get access to tens of thousands of candidates already in the system. You’ll need your Federal Employer ID number, or your social security number. Follow the prompts to get started.

In order to remain eligible, Pandemic Unemployment Assistance claimants will soon need to fulfill a weekly work search requirement. Employers play a key role on the site in getting people back to work because the easiest way to search for jobs is by using hireguam.com. Candidates can even download the app to search for open positions. It takes the pain out of job searching. Hireguam.com will tell them who is hiring and they never have to hit the pavement to fulfill the requirement and find the right job for them on one site.

The more robust the employer list, the better the system will work for both employers and job seekers, which is why the agency is laying the foundation now and building up our job bank inventory.

“We need to get employers in the system before the job search requirement gets switched on so we are engaging the private sector by working with the Guam Chamber of Commerce. I’m speaking with Chairwoman Christine Baleto because we want to address employer challenges in opening up their businesses and getting them access to hiring the right people. This will add one more tool to their job recruitment process, and our goal is to complement that process. When I meet with the governor we will have a better understanding of the situation and challenges,” Dell’Isola said.

From the employer dashboard you can access all of the key features that make the system very user-friendly. From there you can create job orders, search for candidate resumes and access any messages you may have. Allow job seekers to research your company by filling out your corporate profile and including keywords.

The Job Order Wizard makes posting open positions simple. The wizard saves your work as you go and allows you to use default text and templates to make it even easier to post your job orders. You can also add an application questionnaire manually, or you can modify sample text to fit your needs.

When you are finished, hireguam.com will also show you active resumes that match what you’re looking for. The site also allows you to create a Virtual Recruiter that will alert you when it finds potential candidates’ resumes that fit your job description.
