Guam – About 125 public officials still have not filed their conflict-of-interest or financial statements with the Guam Election Commission.
The statements were due this past Monday. About 350 GovGuam elected officials and appointed members of Boards and Agency heads are required to file the statements.
GEC Executive Director Maria Pangelinan says all Senators have filed their financial interest statements. Its the conflict of interest statements that are missing from various appointed officials and board members.
Pangelinan says that the names of those who have not filed will be published by May first. If any public official have still not filed by October, than the GEC will submit the names to the Attorney General for prosecution.
