GEC Seeks New Executive Director

Guam – The Guam Election Commission has issued notice that it is seeking applicants for  the opening of the Executive Director position.

Former Director John Blas resigned suddenly last month. Stephanie Chargualaf is currently serving as the Acting Director.

The notice states:

Pursuant to Title 3, Guam Code Annotated, the Guam Election Commission appoints an Executive Director to administer the Election Laws of Guam and to perform and discharge all of the powers, duties, purposes, functions and jurisdiction of said Title.   

Government of Guam benefits offered: Annual leave, sick leave, health insurance, life insurance, and retirement.  This is a salaried position determined by the Commission.  Submit application, resume and other requirements to Mr. John Taitano, Chairman, Guam Election Commission, 2nd Floor, Suite 200, GCIC Building, 414 West Soledad Avenue, Hagatna, Guam 96910.  Deadline for applications, resume and other requirements is due on or before the close of business Friday, March 18, 2011.  Please provide six copies of the completed application packet upon submission, in addition to the original.
