The Guam Economic Development Authority (GEDA) will open the application period for the Guam Small Business Pandemic Assistance Grant Program 2021 (PAG2021) at 8:00 AM on Thursday, September 9, 2021.

This comes after Governor Lourdes A. Leon Guerrero signed an executive order that authorizes twenty million dollars ($20,000,000) for small business assistance grants.

The PAG2021 program will provide direct financial assistance to Guam small businesses that meet all eligibility criteria and can demonstrate at least twenty-five percent (25%) business interruption during the COVID-19 pandemic. Grant funds can be used for a wide scope of eligible business operating costs.

“As we all know, the COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on not only the public health, but also the economic health of Guam. Thank you to Governor Leon Guerrero for mobilizing these funds to help our small businesses,” says GEDA CEO/Administrator Melanie Mendiola. “This newest grant cycle will provide much-needed assistance to our hardworking small businesses. It is our goal to push out funds as swiftly as possible.”

The full program guidelines, application form, and application checklist will be posted on the GEDA website on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at 4:00 PM. GEDA will accept applications beginning Thursday, September 9, 2021, at 8:00 AM via email or dropbox at the GEDA office located on the fifth floor of the ITC Building, Tamuning. For the health and safety of the public, email submissions are strongly recommended.
