GEDA warns of pandemic assistance email scam


The Guam Economic Development Authority (GEDA) has been notified of an email scam that is circulating.

The email promotes the Guam Small Business Pandemic Assistance Grant (GSBPAG) program and falsely claims to be a representative of GEDA.

The email also includes an attachment of the GSBPAG application and requests for personal information to be submitted.

According to GEDA, this is a scam! Do not respond to these emails or communicate with the sender. Do not provide any personal or business information.

Additionally, avoid clicking on links included in the emails or attachments, as it may result in a virus being loaded on the recipient’s device.
