GFD conducts 2 separate rescue cases from 1 group of hikers

There were two separate rescue cases stemming from one group of hikers who got separated while hiking around the Fena Resovoir/Mt. Lamlam areas, Guam Fire Department (GFD) spokesman Kevin O’Reilly said.

At 7:51 pm, GFD 911 center received a call for a lost adult male hiker in the Fena Reservoir area. At 8:51 pm rescue units were able to locate the hiker and bring him to an awaiting Navy ambulance at 2111. He was transported to NHG for treatment and observation.

At 4:40 am, 911 received a call for another one of the group members that was lost around the Mt. LamLam area. Rescue units entered the trail but were informed at 7:53 am that the adult male was found along the roadway and brought to NHG by a motorist.
