GFD rescues 3 hikers in San Carlos Falls area; warning on flash floods reiterated

The Guam Fire Department received a 911 call reporting three hikers in need of assistance due to the dangers of flash floods in the San Carlos Falls area at 1:44 pm.

Units arrived at the trailhead at 2:01 pm. Units arrived with the three hikers (2 minors and 1 adult) at 3:29 pm.

The rescue party is currently making their way out, no injuries reported.

The Guam Fire Department reminds the community to heed the weather warnings pushed out by the National Weather Service and Guam Homeland Security.

Thunderstorms and flash floods are extremely dangerous conditions for hiking activities.
