The A.B. Won Pat International Airport Authority, Guam is pleased to announce that a third tank at their fuel farm is up and operational providing added fuel capacity to airlines. Before the third tank came online, the Airport Tanks #1 and #2 combined, provided carriers with 750,000 gallons of jet fuel for operations. With the third tank online, airlines that service our island have access to 1.125 million gallons of jet fuel.

Supreme Group is the current fuel farm operator and agent for the Airport Authority. From June 2013 through May 2014 the annual sales volume of fuel exceeded 50 million gallons, indicative of the sheer volume that moves through the Airport’s Fuel Farm. The added capacity with Tank #3 also increases the potential for more flight activity by our carriers as fuel is readily available on island for whatever their expansion needs may be.

“We continue to build up and harden the infrastructure here at the Airport Authority for any kind of expansion. Our tourism numbers continue to increase, we have carriers providing charter services with real positive prospects to establish regular service, and so it behooves us to prepare for growth in our aviation industry,” stated Charles H. Ada II, Airport Executive Manager.
