Guam – The Guam Medical Association has sent out a release announcing its second “Town Hall Style” Debate of this campaign season.
The debate is scheduled for Wednesday October 27th at the Hyatt Regency Guam.
There have been indications that the Calvo-Tenorio team is wavering on its commitment to this debate, although no official announcement has been made yet by that Gubernatorial team.
In a release today, GMA Executive Director Pram Sullivan states that: “Both camps committed their participation early on and we expect their commitments to be kept.”
The release also includes letters sent to the 2 rival Gubernatorial teams reminding them of their commitment to participate.
The debate will be broadcast LIVE exclusively on K57 Talk Radio and CW4 TV. However the organizers say that “all News Teams are welcome and will include news teams of KUAM, the Pacific News Center, the Pacific Daily News and the Mariana’s Variety.”
In the release, Pram states that “our island is strongest when our elected leaders are accessible and accountable in explaining their decisions and answering tough questions. That standard of openness must start before Election Day.”
The moderator for the debate will be Patti Arroyo from K57 Talk Radio, and we will accept questions from the public via email@example.com.
The person submitting the question will be invited to ask the their question live at the debate.
A limited amount of tickets will be released this coming week.
