New Patient Room at GMH Dedicated to the Memory of the Founders of the Bank of Guam

Guam- The Guam Memorial Hospital (GMH) and the GMH Volunteers Association (GMHVA) hosted a patient room dedication today [Wednesday] in honor of the late Bank of Guam Founder Jesus Leon Guerrero and the late former Bank President Anthony Leon Guerrero.

The ceremony took place at the fourth floor surgical unit of the hospital. Room 429 is dedicated to recognize the continued generosity of the Leon Guerrero family and the Bank of Guam.

Most recently, they donated $10 thousand dollars for the GMHVA Charity Drive.

Current Bank President Lou Leon Guerrero says they do what they can to help the hospital and the patients it serves.

“Certainly feel very rewarded that we could at least give back to the hospital in some way” said Leon Guerrero. “Although small, every event counts. I just wish the best for the hospital, the volunteers and hope the patients, at least their discomfort becomes less discomfort by having a good environment in the hospital rooms.”

The ceremony was also attended by First Lady Christine Calvo and Acting Hospital Administrator Rey Vega.
