GMH Medical Staff President to Governor: ‘Lock down’ Guam

The Guam Memorial Hospital Medical Staff President is now also urging Governor Lou Leon Guerrero, to lock down the Island.

In a letter sent Wednesday, addressed to the Office of the Governor, Dustin Prins, said, “as medical staff president at the Guam Memorial Hospital, I walk the halls of this public hospital along with our dedicated staff everyday and I am writing to you in agreement with the Guam Medical Association’s letter.”

Prins said, we must “lockdown and close the gates to fight against this deadly virus.”

On Monday, the Guam Medical Association issued a News Release urging the Governor to lockdown Guam completely for 14-days. Late Tuesday night, Senators penned a letter to the Governor also asking for an Island-wide shelter-in-place and to urge the Federal government to allow us to shut our borders.
