Volunteers Association, a nonprofit organization that for more than 45 years has been dedicated to providing support for Guam’s only public hospital.

Along with a pending order from an off-island vendor, this delivery comprises more than $8,300 in supplies donated to the Hospital this month by
the GMHVA.

Delivered today were the following new supplies, purchased by the GMHVA:
*       3 cases of IV administration half-sets;
*       9 cases of 18-gauge hypodermic needles;
*       7 cases of 2000 cc suction canisters; and

The Hospital is also awaiting an order of 5 cases of platelet donation kits from an off-island vendor, also purchased by the GMHVA.

The GMH Volunteers Association is a 45-year-old organization with more than 100 active members. Along with operating the Hospital’s Gift Shop, manning the information booth, reading to pediatric patients and other activities, members have raised more than $5 million for Guam’s Hospital throughout the organization’s history. Funds for today’s donation were raised through fund-raisers held throughout the year, including the annual Charity Ball which this year will be held on April 9.
