The Republican Party of Guam has confirmed that Sen. Wil Castro is the party’s candidate for Guam Delegate to Congress.
Castro is currently the Minority Leader and as a result of his nomination to Congress, the Republican Party announced the following alternating leadership roles within the Republican senators in the 35th Guam Legislature:
• Minority Leader — Senator Telo T. Taitague
• Assistant Minority Leader — Senator Louise Borja Muña
• Minority Whip — Senator James “Jim” C. Moylan
• Nominee to the Republican Party of Guam for Delegate to the United States House of
Representatives — Senator Wil Castro
“Senator Castro is a statesman whom we trust will work with all parties and represent Guam well in Congress,” said newly installed Minority Leader Senator Telo Taitague in a Republican Party of Guam news release.
“Building bridges and bringing people together — absent political lines — is the best way forward for Guam,” stated Senator Wil Castro. “The people’s representative must represent all of the people and work with everyone entrusted to work for the people.”
