Guam – A diplomat who represents her country throughout Micronesia paid a courtesy visit to Governor Eddie Baza Calvo today [Wednesday].

The Honorable Susan Cox, Australia’s Ambassador to the Federated States of Micronesia arrived on Guam for the Governor and Lt. Governor Ray Tenorio’s inauguration, but met with the administration today to personally offer her congratulations.

“Good luck with the next four years and the next four years should you choose to continue,” Ambassador Cox told Governor Calvo.

Ambassador Cox was wearing a gold proa pin to the meeting, which she received during Monday’s inaugural ceremonies.

“I stressed the important relations between the government of Australia and the government of Guam,” she said of the meeting with Governor Calvo.
