Chairman of the Governor’s Physicians Advisory Group Dr. Nathaniel Berg addressed the rise in cases in their video today and said they are closely monitoring the situation.

He emphasizes that, despite the rise in cases, what they ideally do not want is a rise in COVID-19 hospitalizations and deaths — which have been sporadic and stable in the past few weeks.

In the video, the PAG Chair reminded the public what Public Health officials have always continued to remind the public. Reminders such as:

Wearing a mask, especially around the elderly.
Staying at home if you are sick
Watching your distance

With an emphasis in getting vaccinated and boosted if you have not done so already.

Dr. Nathaniel Berg, Chairman of the Governor’s Physicians Advisory Group stated, “We are learning to live with COVID. None of us want to go back to COVID-19 restrictions. Together we will push forward with continued recovery”

Individuals can get vaccinated at Public Health’s Community Health Centers in Dededo and Inarajan.

You can also get tested at those locations on Tuesdays and Thursdays — along with the Old Carnival Grounds in Tiyan on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
