Guam – Governor Eddie Baza Calvo is currently in Vietnam heading a delegation to spur economic development, promote tourism, and initiate educational and cultural exchange.
The governor is traveling with representatives from the Guam Visitors Bureau, the Guam Economic Development Authority and the University of Guam. He hopes to entice more investment and spark increased tourism to the island.
He’ll have several meetings in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with U.S. Ambassador David Shear, Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh and Hanoi Vietnam Chamber of Commerce Director Dr. Vu Tien Loc amongst others.
