Governor Congratulates Congresswoman Bordallo for “Pushing for Local Funding in Omnibus Appropriations Bill”

Guam – The Governor’s Office released the following statement from the Governor congratulating Congresswoman Bordallo for her efforts in keeping funding for Guam in the Omnibus Appropriations Bill passed by the U.S. House of Representative on Wednesday night. The measure still awaits action in the Senate.

Governor Eddie Baza Calvo provides the following statement in support of Congresswoman Madeleine Z. Bordallo’s work and push for local and insular funding in the Omnibus Appropriations Bill:

“We congratulate Congresswoman Bordallo for securing these commitments despite the federal government’s financial constraints.  She remains a guardian of Guam’s interests in our nation’s Capitol.  The administration will continue to support our Congresswoman and work with her in bringing Guam’s needs to the highest levels of government.”
